When I go to buy bread, I sometimes don't get back for an hour and a half. It's not that the baker's is that far away, two minutes at most. The “problem” is that on the way I pass Café Le Progrès and before I know it, I find myself chatting with the villagers, baguette under my arm. The priorities here are completely different. That also helps me to put mine into perspective.
We prefer to come here in spring or during Indian Summer, from September onwards. That's when the light and colours are incredible. The nature and light here are so exceptional that they continue to inspire many filmmakers, photographers and painters.
